Double the Banality!

Today, today is the tie breaker.
Back on New Year's Day, I began my effort to actually start writing more regularly, namely by making a daily update to Banality Dot Com. And while yes, some of these updates have been quite banal I'm sure, I have succeeded in doing exactly that. This was the main goal, of course, just making myself write. But I did have one or two other goals in mind, as well.
The second of these goals, you see, was to craft a number of gibberings this year that exceeded all others I've made previously. And unless my count is incorrect, I had written one hundred and nine posts on this site before the first of the year. As it so happens, my rather minimal post yesterday was the one hundred and ninth I built in 2016, so I guess today we meet goal number two!
I suppose it's sad that, even though I've had this domain since 2008, I've only crafted two hundred and eighteen (not counting this one) posts. But that's another reason I'm striving to make use of this space. I went to the trouble to get my hands on its domain, and at only one twenty ninth of what the previous owner was asking for. Yep, I talked twenty eight hundred dollars off the price!

But yeah, that is all I have to go on about today, I suppose. Which is yet another hint to you, gentle reader, that I have problems. Serious, crippling mental problems, many of which have to do with numbers. I already find myself wondering if I can double my sum of gibberings again by the end of this year, which is still a mathematical possibility. It'll just involve a whole lot more gibbering.
